Shipping Containers were originally
built to strict shipping standards and are extremely strong and
watertight. They are virtually
theft proof and inaccessible. Our storage containers can be used for

wide double doors at one end

| Q:Can we install shelving and benches in the Container? | A:Yes you can screw, weld and glue most fixtures to the Container. |
| Q:How is a Container constructed? | A:Standard ISO freight Shipping Containers are suitable for a wide variety of uses. They are designed to withstand the rigors of marine transportation and are constructed with high tensile steel framework and ribbed steel cladding. Internal floors are treated timber (27 mm thick) mounted on steel cross members. Double doors are fitted to one end, retained by full height locking bars with lockable handles. |
| Q:Is there provision to fit a padlock to the door? | A:The Container door locking bars have a plate that is designed for a padlock. |
| Q:Can the container be placed directly on the ground? | A:It is beneficial to place the corner blocks on packing to allow air circulation. |
| Q:Do I need a Town Planning Permit? | A:The temporary use of a storage container generally does not need a permit, but we advise you to approach your local authorities. |
| Q:Can heavy objects be placed on the floor of the Storage Container? | A:The Storage Container floor has heavy duty ply that is supported by many cross members for extra strength. |
| Q:What size is the truck that delivers the Storage Container? | A:The Tilt Tray loaded is 8.3m (31'6") Long. 2.5m (8'2") Wide. & 3.8m (12'6") High. No problems are encountered in accessing most driveways. |
| Q:Will the Tilt Tray Truck have access in our driveway? | A:The truck needs some area to line up with the driveway, and requires a width of just over 2.5m (8'2"). Allow for low wires, branches & the roof eve of the house. |
| Q:Can the Container be transported after it is loaded to another location? | A:Yes the Tilt Tray is capable of winching your loaded Storage Container up to 12 tonne in weight. |
| Q:Is there a selection of Storage Containers to choose from? | A:Our Transport depot has a selection of Storage Containers to choose from during business hours: Mon - Fri :7.30am - 4.30pm or by appointment by phoning 9801 2888. |
| Q:How do we pay for a Storage Container | A:Payment can be made by Company approved Cheque, Cash or by an Electronic Funds transfer between banks. |
| Q:Is there any warranty or guarantee with the Storage Container? | A:No. All storage
containers are sold "AS IS" without warrantee or guarantee.
Fully inspect the Storage Container before purchase for your own satisfaction. |
| Q:How strong are the walls of the Storage Container? | A:Shipping Containers
are built to strict shipping standards and are extremely strong and watertight.
They are designed to stack 5 containers high, each with a
capacity of 25 tonne. |
